A pond at dusk, three stone lanterns, a few lily pads. You get one fry for free. Tap the water and it comes up to eat. It grows a little with every evening you visit, up to thirty pellets a night, and at midnight its pattern drifts a little, so the koi you see tomorrow is a slightly different fish.
Most fry hatch kohaku, sanke or showa. Some come out ogon gold. About one in fourteen has butterfly fins.
Your koi card
How the pond works
- Your koi lives in this browser. Same seed, same fish, on every visit. Clear your browser and the fry is gone, so share the card.
- The pattern comes from the seed: kohaku, sanke, showa, ogon, and the rare butterfly fins. Every night it shifts a little and now and then a new freckle shows up.
- Growth counts up to 30 pellets a night plus every night you have kept it. Feeding all night does not make it grow faster.
- A wallet is optional. Connect one only if you want pond points for feeding. Points are a scoreboard and have no cash value.
- Koipond is a toy. $KOI is a memecoin that lives next to it. It pays nothing and it can go to zero. Only buy what you are fine losing.
